Eric Swartz - Mr. Swartz has 28 years of experience in the securities business, Mr. Swartz is the founder and Manager of Roswell Capital Partners, LLC since 2004. Prior to 2004, Mr. Swartz served as Senior Partner and Co-Founder of Equiplace Securities, LLC and Swartz Investments, LLC. From 1988 to 1993, Mr. Swartz was a Vice President at Bear Stearns & Co. where he specialized in foreign institutional equity investments in U.S. securities. Previously, Mr. Swartz was a Vice President with Oppenheimer & Co., where he was involved in overseas placements of equity and debt for institutions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Australia, and New Zealand. Mr. Swartz serves on the board of Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Michael Kendrick - Mr. Kendrick has 18 years experience in the investment banking and fund management fields. Since 2004, Mr. Kendrick has served as a Senior Partner and Co-Founder of Roswell Capital Partners, LLC, a fund management company. Prior to 2004, Mr. Kendrick served as a Senior Partner and Co-Founder of Equiplace Securities, LLC and Swartz Investments, LLC. Prior to his eighteen-year tenure in the investment banking and fund management fields, Mr. Kendrick held business development positions with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and the McDonnell Douglas Corporation. He holds a masters degree in Business Administration from Embry Riddle University and a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University.
P. Bradford Hathorn is the firm’s In-house Chief Legal Counsel since joining the firm in April of 1995. Mr. Hathorn’s responsibilities include general corporate, securities and contract law matters and regulatory matters for the firm and acting as the firm’s point-of-contact with the issuers’ legal counsel and the US Securities and Exchange Commission regarding the firm’s financing transactions. He is also responsible for negotiating, preparing and reviewing securities transaction documents and internal corporate and management documents. Along with Mr. Johnson, Mr. Hathorn also manages litigation for the firm. Prior to 1995 Mr. Hathorn was a member of the Pensacola, Florida law firm of Carlton, Fields, Ward, Emmanuel, Smith & Cutler PA. (1992-1995) where he practiced general corporate, commercial and intellectual property law, and engaged in trademark and copyright litigation and real estate transactions. Mr. Hathorn received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida in 1983 (National Engineering Honor Society), after which he worked in aircraft engine design, analysis and testing at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and G.E. Aerospace until 1988. Mr. Hathorn earned his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Florida College of Law in 1991, graduating top 10% of his class with Honors. While at law school Mr. Hathorn was a member of the Order of the Coif Honor Society and received Book awards for the highest test scores in the class for Tort Law and Criminal Law. Mr. Hathorn has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1992, and the Georgia Bar since 1999.
Carlton M. Johnson, Jr. - Carlton Johnson has served as in-house legal counsel for Roswell Capital Partners, LLC since 1996. His responsibilities include all areas of regulatory matters and litigation oversight. Mr. Johnson was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1986. The Florida State Bar in 1988, and the Georgia Bar in 1997. He was a shareholder in the Pensacola, Florida AV-rated law firm of Smith, Sauer, DeMaria, Johnson and was President-Elect of the 600 member Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association. Carlton has also served on the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors. Mr. Johnson earned his degree in History/Political Science at Auburn University with high honors and Juris Doctor with high honors at Samford University - Cumberland School of Law. He is a member of Curia Honoris Society, graduating in the top three percent of his class. Since 1999, Mr. Johnson has served on the Board of Directors of Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publicly held biotech company. Mr. Johnson serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Peregrine and is also Chair of the Audit Committee. Beginning in 2001, Mr. Johnson has served on the Board of Directors of Patriot Scientific Corporation. Also, since May 2009, Mr. Johnson has served on the Board of Directors of CryoPort, Inc. a publicly held company providing cost-efficient frozen shipping to biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Mr. Johnson serves as Chairman of CryoPort's Compensation Committee and as a member of its Audit Committee. Since November 2009, Mr. Johnson has served on the Board of Directors of ECOtality, Inc. a leader in clean electric transportation and storage technologies. Mr. Johnson serves on the audit committee of ECOtality. Mr. Johnson has a combined total of twenty eight years of experience in serving on the Board of publicly traded companies.
Paul Gorski - Since 2001, Mr. Gorski has served as Private Equity Manager for Roswell Capital Partners, LLC, an institutional fund management company. In that role, Paul's responsibilities include identifying and analyzing small to mid-sized public and private companies that meet Roswell’s investment criteria. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gorski was employed with Onsite Companies from 98’-01’. Mr. Gorski held the position of account manager in which he established and maintained a clientele of over 30 companies as well as managed 100 plus employees on his payroll. With that, Mr. Gorski was also responsible for 3 full time recruiters. Mr. Gorski received his BBA in Management from Georgia Southern University.
Chad McIntyre - Since 2004, Mr. McIntyre has served as Director of Finance for Roswell Capital Partners, LLC. His responsibilities include the management of all accounting, financial reporting, and analysis functions. Mr. McIntyre is also responsible for the review and monitoring of the firm’s client contractual commitments. Mr. McIntyre served as the Fin Op for Equiplace Securities from 12/01 to 06/04. Prior to joining the firm Mr. McIntyre was Associate Vice President and Director of Financial Operations for Healthcare Realty Trust in Nashville, TN where he led the financial planning, analysis, and reporting programs for a $1B division of a real-estate investment trust. Mr. McIntyre was also employed at J.C. Bradford & Company in various internal financial-management related areas from 1994 - 2000. Mr. McIntyre’s most recent position at J.C. Bradford, prior to joining Equiplace Securities, was Analyst in the Information Technology Management department (1999-2000), where he was responsible for preparing, presenting and monitoring the department’s $30 million budget and facilitating the departments management polices and procedures. Additional positions that Mr. McIntyre held at J.C. Bradford were Corporate Analyst – Corporate Finance Department (1998-1999), and Staff Accountant – Corporate Accounting Department (1994-1998). Mr. McIntyre received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Middle Tennessee University (1994).
Peter Cohen - Since 2010, Peter has served as Private Equity Manager for Roswell Capital Partners, LLC. Prior to joining the firm Mr. Cohen served as a Sr. Sales Manager with an Auto Superstore from 2003 – 2010. He was primarily responsible for managing a sales team producing yearly volume of $120M and facilitating financing for prospective customers through relationships with major lenders. He had additional responsibility assisting in the development and roll out of new initiatives focused on improvements in productivity and profitability. Mr. Cohen served as General Manager and Assistant District Manager for Mikasa from 2001 -2003. He was responsible for all aspects of retail operations and marketing for the Atlanta Flagship location as well as other locations in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama. Mr. Cohen received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University Of North Carolina-Charlotte.
Joseph Duston - serves as a Private Equity Manager at Roswell Capital Partners LLC with the primary task of identifying small to mid-sized public companies that meet the firm’s investment criteria. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Duston had over 10 years experience in the small and mid-market commercial banking and payments industry, including positions as a Director Business Development at RBS WorldPay Inc (2007-2009) and Regional Manager at Chase Paymentech LLC (2000-2007). Mr. Duston earned a B.A. in Speech and Communications from the University of Georgia in 2000.
